Glen Ellyn Center for Historical Research
The Center for Historical Research offers space to gather for our regularly scheduled events, exhibits and an art and history gallery, as well as our archives and artifacts collection. Access to the archives is by appointment only.
The Archives – Discover Glen Ellyn’s History
The archives are full of resources that tell the story of our Village through time, including photos, real estate records, books, boxed collections of memorabilia, and more. While we mostly have information about Glen Ellyn, you can also discover some information about neighboring communities, DuPage County, and the Chicagoland area.
Schedule an appointment to search the archives with assistance, or contact us and our volunteers are happy to answer questions or find information. Fees may apply for research over one hour or copies of photographs. Appointments typically available Tues-Fri 10am-5pm, and occasional Saturdays.
